A Shift In Perspective

These are a few self portraits I shot today.  I feel my photos have always lacked my own perspective.  When a person can separate their own physical being from their subject, a unique distinction is born.  Life is captured and kissed by perception. A perfect blend of inner thought and the physical world.

Transcendent

I am so excited for 2012. I'm even more excited to call "Trascendent" my very first shoot of the new year, shot on New Year's Day. The series features my good friend, Elizabeth Sherling. A unique beauty and fantastic model. We'd planned this shoot in September 2011, but it was subject to delay until January 1st. I spent a lot of time in 2011 observing and reflecting, and I truly believe 2012 is my year to take everything I've learned and use it to my advantage. The way in which I view photography has completely transformed... for the better, I hope, and I plan to update this blog with more posts as time moves forward. Let's see where this year will lead me!
